Dick's Digital is a music recording studio located in the Mechanicville area of Upstate New York. We are a small home studio with the goal of providing quality recording, mastering and manufacturing for the artists we take on as clients.

Dick's Digital is focused on developing recording projects with solo artists, singer/songwriters and small acoustic groups.

The owner and chief engineer, Richard Chapman, has over 30 years of music recording experience.

The studio at Dick's Digital allows for 12 track simultaneous digital recording. Richard is also available on a limited basis for live on location 2 track recording.

The studio is equiped with a good selection of microphones, high quality inboard effects and mastering tools. A relaxed atmosphere, attentiveness to the artists' intentions and goals for the project and the ability to take a project from concept to final product make Dick's Digital the ideal place to record for performers looking for a personal experience.

In addition to recording facilities, we also provide short-run CD manufacturing including full-color art on the discs themselves. We use high clay content paper and color laser printing to produce album inserts and other CD case art.

Rates are negotiable. Clients will be accepted based on their fit with the studio's focus, music and availability.
